Pest Sciences (KL) Sdn. Bhd. was engaged to undertake a task in controlling and bringing down the population of the rodent in one of the famous resort at Kenyir Lake, Trengganu, Malaysia.

We spent one week in the resort, conducting surveys, tracking, planning the strategies in tackling the rodent problem. The Rodent Special Agent comprising of Christopher Lim and Rizal and Hanaffee. It was indeed a good experience for all as controlling rodent in a lake resort is a challenging and humongous tasks. The
experience and knowledge gained by all was invaluable.

Kenyir Lake is one of the largest lake in Malaysia which comprises of 340 islands, 14 waterfalls, 2 caves and the world's oldest rainforest which are home to an abundance of fresh water fish, exotic wild-life and flora and fauna.

It indeed a paradise for the adventurous and a haven of calm and serenity fo
r discerning travellers. This place is high recommedable for everyone, and it should not be missed out.

Below are some of the strategies applied in the control of rodent during our mission from 14th - 20th October 2009.
Our first task was to conduct a thorough survey of the external

perimeter of the whole resort. To identify the critical level of
rodent infestation, the species, to track their activities and the reason for their infestation. From there, we then strategies our plan to bring down the population of the rodent.

The result was very encouraging and overall the mission can be considered accomplished. We achieved what we are there to do.

One of the most interesting fact here was the finding a different species of rodent which I have not seen in my 20 years of experience in the pest control services. I post this pictures on the blog and hope someone who visit this blog could update me on the species.
